Students at Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School follow a curriculum that is engaging, exciting and tailored to their needs and interests. We have a range of academic and vocational courses on offer at Key Stage 4 and 5.
To broaden and complement their studies we offer our boys the opportunity to take part in a range of visits and trips to museums, theatres and galleries at home and abroad. In recent years visits have taken place to France, Holland, Blackpool and the Lake District.
Our pastoral team provide support to students in many different ways and we have a clear structure in place, read more here.
Outside the classroom setting our students can take part in a wide range of exciting and rewarding extra-curricular activities including various sports clubs and musical groups.
Our new school building has given our students access to excellent facilities in the performing and visual arts. Sporting facilities include a 3G sports pitch, four multi-use activity areas with artificial surfaces (MUGAs), a large sports field, an on-site fitness suite, a sports hall and dance studio – Cardinal Heenan is a specialist sports college and has a national reputation for excellence in this field.
