Summer School Returns

We're running and action-packed summer school between 8.30am and 3pm from Monday 28 July to Friday 8 August. It is open to all boys making the transition from local primary schools to Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School in September 2014.

All attendees will have the opportunity to try a range of new activities and learn new skills including:

  • Sports
  • Literacy
  • Numeracy
  • Fun games
  • Computer games design
  • Drama
  • Technology.

Mr Sewill from the PE department said: "Our annual summer school gives new students the chance to get to know their teaching staff, find their way around the building and meet their classmates before they join us full-time in September which is hugely beneficial. Not only is it great fun but it also helps the boys to understand the expectations we have of them and the school's ethos."

Please note the canteen will not be open so a packed lunch will be requied each day. Drinks will however be available.

Only students who have a confirmed place can attend, the registration deadline is Wednesday 2 July.
