Cardinal Heenan sixth former Michael Evans has been involved in an architectural regeneration project throughout the year with Placed and Hidden Liverpool.
Michael, along with students from Holly Lodge, King David, St Edwards and Bluecoat, was challenged to come up with ideas to redevelop forgotten or underused buildings in the city.
He was allocated the Welsh Presbyterian Church on Princes Drive and asked to think about how to attract new business and funding to Toxteth and benefit the local community at the same time.
He presented his ideas on Thursday 19 June to representatives from Hidden Liverpool and his fellow entrants (which were very well received on the day)!
Michael's model is now on display alongside as part of a pop-up exhibition until Friday 27 June in Unit C7, The Colonnades, Albert Dock between 11am and 6pm. There's also an opportunity to see new images of Liverpool by photographer Andrew Brooks.
Well done Michael!
