Heenan Student to Captain Liverpool Boys Side

Cardinal Heenan student Kevin Cringle will skipper the Liverpool U15 squad when they face Cambridge on Friday at Goodison Park.

If the home side win they'll lift the U15 English Schools Football Associations PlayStation Inter-Association Trophy and Kevin will receive a sixth national cup medal - a feat, it is thought, never previously achieved!

The Year 10 student is already celebrating cup glory after clinching the ESFA PlayStation Under 15 Schools' Cup in a thrilling 4-2 win for Cardinal Heenan over Kent school St Columba's on Wednesday 30 April.

Kevin was interviewed by the Liverpool Echo in the run up to the match, read all about it below!
