Sport Relief Success
On Friday 21 March our NVQ fitness level 2 and 3 students completed an incredible physical challenge in aid of Sport Relief.
The boys collectively ran, walked, rowed and cycled 250 miles in the school gym. They also lifted a combined 23 tonnes in weight via squats or bench and shoulder presses in just in three hours.
Some individual students lifted an impressive 2000kg each and a special mention must go to year 12's Callum Watson who managed to squat one tonne in 30 minutes!
The group worked very hard together throughout the afternoon and have already raised over £200 for charity.
Congratulations to the boys for their tremendous achievement and thank you to all the staff and students who sponsored them.
