PlayStation Schools Cup

Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School hosted the PlayStation Schools Cup U13 Boys quarter final game on Wednesday 12 March.

To mark the occasion the PlayStation event team arranged a variety of onsite activities and opportunities for our students to enjoy including football master classes with ESFA coaches and a gaming hub in the sports hall.

Two Year 8s were given the opportunity to visit the Melwood training ground in the afternoon and in the run up to the big match Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson popped into school to do a short Q&A with some of our media students. The group were able to ask a range of questions about his training regime, career highlights and tips for success.

He then headed outside and onto our pitches to warm up with the home side.

Our Year 8 boys faced Maghull's Maricourt High School in this crunch match and we won 4-0!
