More Success for Luke in the Pool

Year 13 student Luke Nisted continues to balance his studies with the demands of his high intensity training and competing at the highest level in swimming competitions across the world.

Getting up at 5am to get in the pool or hitting the gym is just part of Luke's daily routine.

Having competed for GB Deaflympics in Sofia last summer,  Luke is now preparing for a trip to Russia to continue to fly the flag for Team GB.

This weekend Luke was performing at the  National DSE Short Course Championships at Ponds Forge in Sheffield were he gained four individual gold medals and a personal best in the 50m Freestyle!

Everyone at Cardinal Heenan wishes him the very best of luck, we're all so proud of you!
