A Successful and Industrious Day

On Friday 14 February all Year 8 and 11 students took part in our annual industry day event.

Employers and employees from a wider variety of industries and sectors spent a whole day in school speaking to groups of students to help them understand the range of opportunities available to them and the different routes of entry. These included:

  • Health and child care
  • ICT, computing and games design
  • Business and enterprise
  • Construction and engineering
  • The emergency services
  • The armed forces
  • Manufacturing
  • Performance and the arts
  • Journalism and more!

Parents/ carers of Year 8 students were invited to attend the day with their son and while Year 11 students also had the opportunity to take part in a mock interview.

See some photos from the day here via our Flickr pages.

We'd like to thank everyone that helped make this event our best yet!
