University of Liverpool Trip
A group of our Year 11s visited the University of Liverpool on Thursday 2 May.
The boys were first shown around the campus by some current students and later took part in a workshop facilitated by recent UoL graduates to discuss the different types of degrees now available and the careers they can lead to in the future.
Mr Pomford said: "We want to ensure that Cardinal Heenan learners realise their full potential at university or in the world of work, that's what this trip was all about. The students enjoyed the experience and the session really helped them to explore the possibilities open to them after their GCSEs. We're very grateful to the UoL staff, students and graduates for their time."
“Love your neighbour as yourself.”
"A person who seeks to promote the welfare of others, especially by the generous donation of money to good causes."
The First Christmas (Advent)
"She wrapped Him in swaddling clothes, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn."
