Sixth Formers Show their Spots!

Students in Years 12 and 13 have raised £600 for Children in Need and money is still coming in!

Fundraising efforts were co-ordinated by the Sixth Form Committee and activities that took place on Friday 15 November ranged from a 'guess the weight of the sweets' competition and a staff v student cracker eating competition to a raffle. The main prize up for grabs was an iPad mini which was generously donated by our catering company Harrisons.

Lots of people bought tickets and a number of the teaching staff even purchased them for the most deserving student in their class.

The jar of sweets was won by maths teacher Mrs Whitehead and PE teacher Mr Rachi won the iPad, he is however raffling it off this week with his Year 10 form group, charging them £2 per ticket.

Well done to all Cardinal Heenan staff and students who helped make this year's fundraising effort so successful!

The lower school held a cake sale on Friday and raised a further £283.60 for this great cause.
