PTA Event a Real Success

On Friday 26 April Cardinal Heenan's PTA held a successful fundraising event which added a fantastic £2000 to school funds.

Over 150 people attended a sportsmans dinner and were thoroughly entertained by tales from former footballer and Everton's most successful manager, Howard Kendall and Liverpool FC footballer Jimmy Case, who was widely regarded as one of the hardmen of the game.

Other highlights included a hilarious turn by local comedian Frankie Allen, two raffles and a game of stand-up bingo.

The sportsman nights are the biggest fundraisers that the PTA hold, the next one will be Friday 1 November - look out for more information on the website closer to the time.

The next PTA event is on Saturday 18 May. To find out more or call 07751 988769.
