A Level Success

Staff and students at Cardinal Heenan are still celebrating the excellent A Level and BTEC results recevied at the end of last week.

The overall national A*-E pass rate has risen slightly by 0.1% to 98.1% in 2013 however our pass rate was 99% and a fantastic 77% of those students that passed also gained the top grades of A*-C!

Students in Year 12 also had reason to celebrate with 48% of them achieving A*-C grades in their AS Level exams which is an improvement on 2012!

Ms Smyth, Headteacher, said: "We are so pleased with these results and very proud of our learners and their success. I wish them all the very the best of luck in their future training, education or employment."

Meaning: A person with an interest or concern in something, especially a business.
