Students Put their Teachers through their Paces!

Our Year 13 NVQ Personal Training students have been putting their studies into practice by working with members of staff on a one-to-one basis in the school's onsite gym.

Each student has worked with at least two members of staff and the feedback has been excellent:

"Very polite, appropriate and encouraging. Really enjoying my training sessions and feeling the benefit. He knows what he is doing, always explains everything and aims for high impact instead of lots of repetition."

"The combination of this training and advice from a dietician has resulted in a stone of weight loss. In turn, this has helped me to feel more confident and fitter and this has given me a well needed self-esteem boost!"

"My trainer has committed to working with me in the gym at least twice a week, often three, and has impressed me with his attitude. Since starting with a healthy eating and training, I have lost 24lbs and feel happier and more confident as a result. I would be more than happy to continue with this training and pay for it."

The PE department would like to say a big thank you to those staff who volunteered for this programme and to Mark Beesley for organising and training the students.
