Health Programme Up for Echo Award
Our 'Healthy 4 Life' intervention programme has once again been shortlisted for the 'Healthy Living & Green Award' in the Liverpool Echo Schools Awards for 2015.
Last year we won the Healthy Living Award so it's fantastic to be recognised once again for a programme that has had such a huge impact on our boys.
Daniel Jones and Chris Jackson (pictured, in their old school trousers!) said, "Winning the schools award last year gave us the confidence to try harder and improve our health and fitness. Since September, we have lost 35 kilos and developed much more self-esteem. We achieved this by working hard with Mr Townson during our morning Healthy 4 Life sessions, before school and on Saturdays.
If we were to win this again it would be amazing and give us the chance to show everyone how much we have improved our health and fitness."
We look forward to finding out how we have done at the awards ceremony on 1st July but, whatever the result, we'd like to congratulate all of our boys who have taken part in the programme and who have achieved such impressive results.
“Love your neighbour as yourself.”
"A person who seeks to promote the welfare of others, especially by the generous donation of money to good causes."

"She wrapped Him in swaddling clothes, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn."
