Drama Students Visit Disneyland Paris
During the Spring half term holiday, 24 Year 9 GCSE Drama students were given the opportunity to travel to Disneyland Paris, as part of Disney's Performing Arts Programme.
The boys took part in Disney's Performing Arts Workshops, where they were able to work with Disney professionals and experience what it's like to be a member of Disney's Performing arts teams.
The Workshops involved hands-on sessions where the boys were taken through all of the necessary skills needed to succeed in performing.
In their down time, the boys also got to enjoy the fun of the two theme parks for themselves. They faced their fears and conquered the electrifying, white-knuckle rides (even though some of the staff kept their feet firmly on the ground).
They also witnessed the stunning light show depicting the history of Disney and got to watch Buffalo Bill's Wild West Troop wrangle horses and thieves alike.
All 24 boys were a credit to the school and their parents. During the trip, their behaviour and maturity was outstanding and it was pleasure for the staff to take them to Paris and to be able to share this fantastic experience with them.
