XI Football Team Success

The Sixth Form football team has made an excellent start to the season with four wins from four in the Merseyside Schools & College Elite League and progressing to round 4 of the National Cup, having beaten local rivials Archbishop Beck 1-0 in round three.

Led by captain Kieran Gaul, the team is starting to gel nicely with some good performances from Daniel Murphy, Joe Andrews & Noah Rudkin.

Top goalscorer this term is Michael Nolan, who also scored and early goal of the season contender with a mazy run and cool finish, against St Francis of Assisi on Wednesday.
