Mayor Puts Student in the Frame

Mayor of Liverpool Joe Anderson is today putting the artwork of Cardinal Heenan student Michael Walsh in pride of place on his office wall.

The Mayor has tweeted a picture of Michael's work to his 16,000 followers, and almost immediately people responded by saying they were good enough to sell.

Michael's work was initially exhibited at the Museum of Liverpool, along with fellow students John Burton and Jacob McNabb, during the recent International Festival of Business. It was submitted for the Mayoral art competition, which had the theme 'Liverpool - a global city'.

With the festival now finished, the Mayor has decided Michael's brilliant work should remain on display, and will now be seen by visitors to his office.
